Bridges Island, Beagle Channel, named after Anglican Protestant Missionary, Thomas Bridges (d. 1898). His son, E. Lucas Bridges wrote “Uttermost Part of the Earth” (citing Acts 1:8), March 2013.

EXPLANATION of the following Dinosaur Park photos. God created a succession of “worlds” (Heb. 1:2; 11:3) in “the generations of the heavens and of the earth” (Gen. 2:4) in the time-gap between the first two verses of Genesis. This included e.g., the Triassic World (245 to 208 million B.C.), Jurassic World (208 to 144 million B.C.), & Cretaceous World (144 to 66.4 million B.C.).

Plaque celebrating 150 years (1846-1996) since New College Principal, old earth creationist Gap Schoolman, Thomas Chalmers (d. 1847), Principal of New College & Moderator Free Church of Scotland, laid foundation stone (see next photo). Unveiled by Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip in 1996, Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, Dec. 2001.

This became both the Faculty of Divinity of New College, Edinburgh University, & the debating chamber of the Scottish Parliament. Its foundation stone was laid by Thomas Chalmers. Dec. 2001
     

Gavin at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford University. This College Chapel is the Cathedral for the Anglican Diocese of Oxford. William Buckland resided here, and was made a Canon of the Cathedral in 1825. England, UK, October 2003.

Inside the Natural History Museum at Oxford University, the core of the geological collection comes from old earth creationist Gap Schoolman, William Buckland (d. 1856). He was Reader in Geology and Mineralogy at Oxford University, where he was appointed Professor of Mineralogy in 1813. He endorsed “the highly valuable opinion of Dr. Chalmers” concerning “an interval of many ages between” the first two verses of Genesis 1. Oxford University, England, UK, Oct. 2003.

The Sedgwick Museum of Geology is named after the old earth creationist Gap Schoolman, Adam Sedgwick (d. 1873). It is the oldest museum at Cambridge University, England, UK. Dec. 2003.

New College Court in New College Parade (Finchley Road) is in the former general area of New College, London University (1850-1924). Local Earth Gap Schoolman, Pye Smith laid the foundation stone for New College in 1850 - his final year as Principal of one of its predecessors, Homerton College, affiliated with London Univ. from 1840.

Congregationalist, sometime Principal of Homerton College (earlier called “Academy”), London, UK; Theology Faculty incorporated into New College, London University (1850-1977); & reconstituted as a teachers' college, now Homerton College, Cambridge University. Local Earth Gap Schoolman.
 


5) John Pratt (1809-1871). Anglican, Archdeacon of Calcutta, India, Central Asia, when it was British Empire’s “2nd city” (after “the 1st city” of London, UK). Local Earth Gap Schoolman (1856-8); then Global Earth Gap Schoolman; then by 1871 non-committal on Local or Global earth, leaving matter to “be decided” “by scientific” work. Honorary
Local Earth Gap Schoolman.


6) Henry Jones Alcock (1837-1915). Anglican clergyman, sometime Church Missionary Society Principal of Fourah Bay College, later Sierra Leone Univ., Freetown, when it was British Empire’s capital city for west Africa, where by tradition this portrait’s original was hung in the Principal's Office of sub-Saharan west Africa's oldest university.
